The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, is seeking a Faculty-Led Program Coordinator in the Center for International and Special Programs. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of the Center for International and Special Programs.
As a Program Coordinator, one of this position’s primary responsibilities is the coordination of Faculty-Led study abroad programs, including both spring break and summer programs. Faculty-Led programs are short-term international experiences designed and led by Citadel faculty, which allow students to earn academic credit while gaining firsthand experience in global settings. The Coordinator will support faculty in the development, planning, and execution of these programs, ensuring that both academic and logistical needs are met.
In addition, this position includes event planning and support for key initiatives such as the annual Study Abroad Fair, tabling and marketing events, Matriculation Day, Accepted Students Day, passport fairs, and classroom presentations. The Coordinator will also assist with various administrative tasks, including organizing student and financial files, processing reimbursements, and supporting other operational needs of the office.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Student Affairs, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in academic advising, student affairs, or a related student success role preferred, but not required.
