The Citadel seeks a dynamic and detail-oriented Mock Trial Instructor to lead our competitive undergraduate team. This role is ideal for a legal professional or educator with knowledge of the rules of evidence and trial procedure as well as a passion for trial advocacy, public speaking, and mentorship. The instructor will be responsible for preparing cadets to compete in at least three American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) tournaments, working with the cadets and Citadel administration to arrange for and facilitate AMTA tournament participation, and traveling with and supervising the team at all tournaments. Job will require teaching Mock Trial courses in the fall and Spring semesters in line with curriculum requirements. 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

Law degree (JD). Member of a state bar association. Willingness to travel with cadets.
