The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina is accepting applications for a full-time Enrollment Coordinator for Admissions and Communications within The Citadel Graduate College and College Transfer Program. Reporting to the Associate Director of Recruitment and Sr. Associate Director of Admissions Operations, this role will handle the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for timely and accurate processing of applications, admissions decisions, and related incoming data in an applicant’s file.
- Will collect, review, and maintain student information on all assigned applicants.
- Will work with leadership to help coordinate on-campus events including Open House, virtual events, and on campus and virtual recruitment with Citadel schools and departments.
- Participates in a comprehensive student outreach strategy for assigned prospects, applicants, and students.
- Ensures that missing requirements for applications are collected with follow-up contact to applicants.
- Assist prospective students seeking information about graduate programs, certificates, or undergraduate degree programs for assigned academic school(s), which may include, but not limited to: transfer, graduate, traditional undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, adult undergraduate, veterans, active duty, and non-degree seeking students.
- Responsible for actively reaching out to prospects using prescribed engagement communication and recruitment plans to achieve enrollment goals.
- Facilitates effective funnel management by assisting with organizing workflow automation in the CRM database to ensure the office responds quickly to prospective students and ensures that follow-up communications are scheduled and completed in a timely manner.
- Using the CRM database, assists with the creation of enrollment communication workflows for student recruitment.
- Ensures communication campaigns are executed and documented effectively in the communication system.
- Works closely with the Office of Communications and Marketing as well as stakeholders on and off campus to create and implement recruitment and marketing strategies designed to support enrollment goals; includes planning of public relations announcements and digital strategies related to recruitment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree. A degree in marketing, communication, public relations, or a related degree is preferred. At least 1 - 2 years of experience in higher education or related field required.
- Ability to work occasional evening and/or weekend hours, if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Experience with Banner and Slate CRM, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and Email Marketing Software.
