The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina is accepting applicants for a part-time temporary HVAC Technician in the Facilities and Engineering Department.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Repair maintenance of all campus Mechanical, Air Conditioning, Heating, & Ventilation systems and refrigeration equipment, ice machines, walk-in cooler & freezers, kitchen equipment, dishwasher & cooking equipment, & computerized energy management systems. 
  • Performs Preventive Maintenance on all HVAC and auxiliary equipment. 
  • Assists in making repairs to all air conditioning and chiller systems; chill water pumps and cooling to water pumps, cooling towers, hot water, and steam heating systems, mechanical systems and associated equipment. 
  • Responsible for operating energy management systems; as well as works on low and high voltage control systems which are parts of HVAC equipment.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent of two years related HVAC experience. SC Driver's license required. EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification required.
